DATA CENTER
DESIGN
Assessment, planning, design and coordination throughout the implementation of IT&C infrastructure and data centers.
EXPERIENCE IN INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
FROM REQUIREMENTS ASSESSMENT TO OPERATION-READY INFRASTRUCTURE
Each project has specific requirements regarding space, power supply, cooling, connectivity and long-term development options. The NXDATA team assesses these aspects to determine the appropriate technical configuration based on operational requirements and available capacity.
NXDATA provides assessment, planning and design services for the development, modernization and expansion of IT&C infrastructure and data centers. Solutions are based on the experience gained through the development and operation of NXDATA infrastructure.
FROM REQUIREMENTS TO SOLUTION
ASSESSMENT, PLANNING AND DESIGN
Developing a data center starts with assessing the existing infrastructure, defining requirements and identifying implementation options. The process focuses on establishing the solutions required for power supply, cooling, cabling and efficient use of the available space.
ASSESSMENT OF EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE
Assessment of the reliability of existing infrastructure and identification of project requirements for power supply, cooling and structured cabling.
REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS
Analysis of the project’s operational and technical requirements based on existing IT&C equipment and development objectives.
COST ANALYSIS
Assessment of development costs and identification of options for implementation and phased infrastructure development.
SITE SELECTION
Analysis and selection of the site based on infrastructure requirements and the conditions required for developing a data center.
INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING
A PLAN BUILT AROUND INFRASTRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS
Planning focuses on defining the resources required and identifying development options based on the project’s operational requirements.
The following are assessed:
• IT&C equipment inventory;
• IT infrastructure development plan;
• space requirements;
• power requirements;
• cooling requirements;
• cabling requirements;
• cost options;
• phased implementation options.
INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN
TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS TAILORED TO PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
At the design stage, the systems and resources required for infrastructure operation are defined. Solutions are configured according to the project requirements, required capacity and how the infrastructure is expected to evolve. Supporting infrastructure and the conditions required for the installation and operation of IT&C equipment are also assessed.
POWER SUPPLY
Sizing of the power capacity required for the infrastructure.
COOLING
Selection of cooling technologies suited to the project requirements.
CABLING
Definition of cabling requirements and the space required for cable distribution.
TECHNICAL SPACE
Planning of the space required for equipment and technical infrastructure.
STATIC LOADS
Assessment of static load requirements associated with heavy IT&C equipment.
STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS
The design may be based on standards and reference frameworks relevant to data centers, including Uptime Institute requirements, ISO/IEC 22237, EN 50600 and ANSI/TIA-942.
SITE CONNECTIVITY
COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE AS PART OF THE PROJECT
Connectivity is assessed from the design stage to enable the integration of the infrastructure into the ecosystem of operators and service providers.
FROM DESIGN TO INFRASTRUCTURE
FIT-OUT AND CONSTRUCTION COORDINATION
NXDATA can provide support throughout project implementation by coordinating the works and monitoring compliance with the technical solution defined during the design stage.
WORK COORDINATION
Monitoring implementation activities and coordinating the teams involved in the project.
IMPLEMENTATION VERIFICATION
Verification of compliance with the technical requirements and solutions defined during the design stage.
SUPPLIER COORDINATION
Support in working with suppliers and contractors involved in infrastructure development.
PROGRESS MONITORING
Monitoring implementation stages and project progress.
OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
EXPERIENCE GAINED THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NXDATA INFRASTRUCTURE
Assessment, planning and design services are based on the experience gained through the development and operation of NXDATA infrastructure. The proposed solutions draw on practical experience with power supply, cooling, connectivity and the operation of IT&C infrastructure in NXDATA data centers.
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
More than 20 years of experience in developing and operating data center infrastructure.
CRITICAL SYSTEMS
Experience in developing critical systems that support the operation of IT&C infrastructure.
OPERATOR PERSPECTIVE
Operational and maintenance requirements are taken into account from the design stage.
VALUE FOR THE PROJECT
DESIGN WITH AN OPERATIONAL PERSPECTIVE
Our experience as an operator allows us to assess technical solutions from the perspective of their long-term operation. Power supply, cooling, cabling and maintenance are assessed in terms of daily operation and the future development of the infrastructure.
FROM AN EXISTING SPACE TO A NEW DATA CENTER
Our experience covers projects ranging from upgrading a server room to developing a new data center.
INFORMED TECHNICAL DECISIONS
Assessment of space, power, cooling, cabling and connectivity requirements before implementation.
PHASED DEVELOPMENT
Analysis of cost options and phased implementation possibilities.
COORDINATION DURING THE FIT-OUT STAGE
Monitoring works, costs, progress and implementation conditions.

CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
We can start with existing infrastructure that needs to be expanded or modernized, a server room that needs to be upgraded to meet new operational requirements, or an entirely new data center project. We assess the requirements and define the technical solutions required for implementation.
